Disconnect Facebook or Instagram from Workora
- Sign in to Workora and open Integrations.
- Find the connected Meta account and select Disconnect.
- Workora deletes the stored access credential, disables the connected channels and reviewed work that names the connection, and stops future provider access.
- For an additional provider-side revocation, open Facebook settings, go to Business integrations, select Workora and remove it.
Disconnecting stops new access. It does not automatically delete business-owned inbox history, because that history may include other customers and business records. Minimal audit records and encrypted backups may remain for the limited reasons described below.
Removing Workora from Facebook or Instagram
Meta may send a signed deauthorization or data-deletion request. Workora verifies the request before acting. Deauthorization disables the matching connection and removes its stored access credential. A data-deletion request also opens a review of the information to erase, including previously disconnected authorizations. An administrator's Meta identity does not identify every customer whose information is held in a business inbox. The request remains open until its scope is verified and fulfilled; the confirmation page explains its current status and how to contact us.
Automated matching uses the provider identity recorded when the account was connected. An older WhatsApp connection may need to be reconnected before Meta supplies that identity. You can request deletion through the contact below at any time, including for a specific customer conversation or an account that cannot be matched automatically. Unrelated connections and business financial records are not erased by this callback.
Request deletion of stored information
Email support@avtax.net. If you have a Workora account, use its email address. If you contacted a business over WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram, identify that business and the account or phone number you used. You may also contact that business directly. We verify the request and locate the relevant workspace before deleting data, to avoid exposing another customer's data.
Include:
- your Workora account email, if you have one;
- the company or business name;
- whether you want an app disconnected, specific content deleted, or the full account deleted; and
- enough information to locate the data without sending passwords or access tokens.
Verification and completion
The company or platform operator will verify identity and authority before deleting data. This protects company information from fraudulent requests. Once verified, we remove covered content and derived context from active systems and confirm completion. Requests involving legally required financial or security records receive a separate explanation of any retention. Backups follow the hosting provider's retention schedule; restored data must have completed deletion requests reapplied before normal use.
What may be retained
Minimal audit, fraud-prevention, billing or legal records may be retained where necessary. Stored provider credentials are not retained after the associated Workora app is disconnected. Retained records are restricted and are not used to run agents or contact the requester. Minimal asset fingerprints may be retained to prevent late provider deliveries from restoring an erased account's data. A shared delivery required by another authorized workspace follows that workspace's retention schedule.
Before sending a request
Never send a Facebook, Instagram or Shopify password, access token or recovery code. Workora support and company administrators do not need those secrets to verify a deletion request.
